Originally discovered by Brooks Garcia
This is an outstanding red clone of Sarracenia leucophylla, originating from the Wilkerson Bog. There are many fakes of this particular Sarracenia circulating, although some of them are of remarkable quality. What makes this plant particularly interesting is its ability to produce large, well-developed pitchers in spring. Sarracenia leucophylla is well known for producing relatively small and often unremarkable spring and summer pitchers, so selecting plants that produce attractive spring pitchers is essential when breeding for desirable hybrids.
The coloration becomes progressively more intense in autumn and remains stable well into early winter, without any issues.
